Description:

The purpose of this Left Ventricular Function and Geometry series is to assist the reader in measuring both volumetric and pressure-based metrics of left ventricular performance as well as quantifying relevant structural characteristics of the LV. This particular course focuses on ventricular thickness and size, and cardiomyopathies of the LV.

You Will Learn

  • Measuring ventricular thickness and size
  • Left ventricular volume at end-diastole (LVEDV)
  • Ventricular aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms

Method and medium:
